Matt Salisbury is an experienced motorsport writer who has been active in the industry since 2004.
Having graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in Online Journalism, Matt joined leading motorsport website Crash.net as a junior reporter – initially to cover the now defunct Champ Car World Series.
His role within the company soon expanded to become the primary touring car reporter, working mainly on event within the British Touring Car Championship paddock.
Having graduated to the position of Editor, Matt left Crash.net in 2009 to go freelance and now works with a range of clients in all areas of the sport.
A number of those clients are within the BTCC paddock where Matt is now one of the most experienced members of the media, having attended well over 100 events and covered more than 400 individual races.
Matt also now works in the travel industry, having made the decision to expand his career into a new area in recent years.
