Founded in 2010, EXCELR8 Motorsport has enjoyed years of success in the highly competitive MINI Challenge and has been part of the British Touring Car Championship grid since 2019.
Originally running a pair of ageing MG6 GTs, the team took on the challenge of building and developing its own cars for the 2020 campaign as it introduced the Hyundai i30 N Fastback into the series for the first time.
Having secured podium finishes from the outset, the team expands to run four cars in 2021 having entered into a new partnership with Trade Price Cars Racing.
The new-look team will field cars for Tom Ingram, Chris Smiley, Jack Butel and Rick Parfitt Jr during the year ahead.
